Calling All Teachers! Walmart Teacher Appreciation Event 7/13

This one is for all of my fellow teachers out there!

I know summer feels like it just got started and you maybe don’t want to think about back to school quite yet, but I can almost guarantee you will want to know about this!

You work hard all year long (and let’s face it- over the summer too) and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Walmart recognizes it and is celebrating all teachers during a special Teacher Appreciation Event in 1000 stores in just a few days. But first, we all know Walmart has everything for the classroom- but did you know there is a way to upload your class supply list to make it easy for students and families to find?

Check out how easy it is to upload through Teacher Lists to be accessed on Walmart.com and through the app! Not only can families find what they need for your class but they can also get all of their other back-to-school essential while browsing as well.

Plus it is a good way to stay organized for you when you do your back-to-school shopping for your classroom!

Now on to the big event!

Teacher Appreciation Event at Walmart

On July 13th from 12:30-4:30 CST (local time equivalent) Walmart is inviting teachers for a fun in-store celebration that includes cake and ice cream, a photo station, beverage sampling, awesome swag bags and more.

It is a special way to say thank you for everything teachers day in and day out, while also making back to school fun and easy!

Here are a couple of important details:

Walmart will be sending out Facebook Invites and there is an Event Locator on their Back-To-School Pages here where you can search to find a Teacher Appreciation Event near you.

The first 300 teachers at each in-store event will receive a swag bag with back-to-school essentials and innovative products that will help get your school year off on the right foot, so make sure to mark your calendar.

Teachers will need to show some sort of identification to participate (think school ID, email address documentation, etc)

Celebrating teachers, giving out free swag, plus making class prep easier? Definitely a few reasons worth bringing up back to school while in summer mode!
